Gender Studies


Program Description

The Gender Studies minor is an interdisciplinary minor designed to examine gender from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. Students take Introduction to Gender Studies, a broad overview of the study of gender in society, and then complete four elective courses from those offered across various disciplines (e.g. English, history, philosophy, sociology). The capstone seminar provides a context for minors to draw on their experiences from the courses they have completed.
