Loyola's admission evaluation is primarily an academic review including secondary school record and performance on the SAT-I (Reading/Math scores) or ACT. The general guidelines are grades of B or higher in all academic courses in grades 9-12 and class rank (if applicable) in the top 25%. Last year, the middle 50% of enrolling students scored between 1120 and 1270 on the SAT-I (Reading/Math scores). We also accept the ACT. The ACT average is a 26. Course selection is also heavily weighted in our evaluation. These guidelines are not used as strict cutoffs: we take many factors into account and try to make an informed judgment about each individual student's record.
