Open House Programs

Our College Days (scheduled on Saturdays) and Saturday Information Programs start at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. respectively. The Admission Office will cancel these programs if Loyola College decides to cancel Saturday classes, due to hazardous driving conditions or parking difficulties. Usually, this decision is made early in the morning of the program, rather than a day or two before. If you are coming from a long distance for a program in the winter, we suggest you check Baltimore area weather. If a major snow storm is predicted, it might make sense to reschedule your visit.

Note: campus tours might be abbreviated or cancelled if we decide that slippery conditions pose a safety hazard.

Daily Interview/Program/Tour Visits

We schedule appointments in both the morning and the afternoon of most weekdays. There are several possibilities for weather-related schedule changes:

1. The College opens late – In this case, morning appointments will be taken as soon as practical. If you have a morning appointment, come to the campus as soon as the College opens. If we open at 10 a.m., we will probably be able to conduct the normal interview/program/tour on a later schedule than normal. If the College opens at noon, we will try to accommodate morning appointments with the afternoon interview/program/tour.

2. The College is open in the morning but closes in the afternoon – Afternoon appointments will be cancelled in this situation, unless the College closes late in the afternoon at 3:30 or 4:00 p.m.

3. The College closes all day – You may contact the office at a later time to reschedule your visit.

Announcements will be made on the campus main number (410-617-2000) and a special Loyola College weather-line (410-617-2223) and on the following radio and TV stations:
