We welcome students and their families to our beautiful campus! Visiting Loyola will help you get extensive information on the College's educational programs, admission processes, financial aid offerings and much more. Additionally, you will be able to get a feel for the campus community and see the wonderful facilities we have to offer. (NOTE: See the Undergraduate Academic Calendar below for a list of campus holidays.)
Here is a summary of the visit opportunities available:
These are our most comprehensive open house programs, featuring an address by the President, faculty sessions on all our majors, extensive campus tours and more. College Days are scheduled on selected Saturdays during the school year.
This program is a great way for Sophomores and Juniors to begin investigating what Loyola, and college in general, have to offer.
Saturday Programs provide a good introduction to Loyola. They include a presentation by an Admission Counselor on the College's educational programs, on campus life and on admission to Loyola. Guests are taken on a tour of campus. These visit opportunities are scheduled on a number of Saturdays throughout the school year.
Summer Information Programs are similar to Saturday Programs. They are introductory open houses scheduled on several Mondays and Fridays in late summer. These programs are designed for high school juniors and seniors involved in the college search.
We offer daily visits on most weekdays, Monday through Friday. Reservations are required. The visit lasts approximately 2 ½ to 3 hours and includes a group information program, a campus tour and an interview (optional). This is also a good opportunity, during the academic year, to see the College on a normal class day. Please note: January 1 - February 15, we offer program only; February 15-May 1, interviews are for seniors and transfer students only.
** Friday, August 29, 2008 is Move-in day for our student body. Due to parking limitations, interviews, group information sessions and guided campus tours will not be available. The College will be closed Monday, September 1, 2008 for Labor Day.
