Financial Aid Application Procedures

Merit-Based Scholarships

All applicants for admission will be considered for merit-based academic scholarship award, provided their application for admission is complete by either the Early Action filing deadline of November 15 or the Regular Decision filing deadline of January 15.

Need-Based Financial Aid

1. File the 2009-10 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. Loyola College’s FAFSA Code Number is 002078.  For complete instructions, go to the Financial Aid Office's department website.

2. File the 2009-10 College Scholarship Service PROFILE Application online. Loyola College’s CSS PROFILE Code Number is 5370.  For complete instructions, go to the Financial Aid Office's department website.

3. The need-based financial aid application deadline is February 1. To be assured of maximum consideration, the CSS PROFILE Application and the FAFSA should be filed as soon after January 1 as possible.

Financial Aid Eligibility Notification Dates

a) Merit-Based Scholarships: Students who are accepted for admission under the Early Action program will be notified no later then February 15; students who are accepted for admission under the Regular Decision program will be notified no later than April 15.

b) Need-Based Financial Aid: Students who are accepted for admission under the Early Action program and who meet the February 1 need-based aid filing deadline will be notified no later than March 15; students who are accepted for admission under the Regular Decision program and who meet the February 1 need-based aid filing deadline will be notified no later than April 10.
